Here we go!
SlashML Is Hiring a Marketing Intern
SlashML, a Montreal-based startup building full-stack infrastructure for AI models, is looking to hire a marketing intern for Summer 2025. Some more details about the role:
SlashML is looking for a marketing intern to join over the Summer. The role involves working on two products with the following milestones: increase users, and increase usage. The job mostly involves posting on Reddit, writing blog posts, and talking with existing users. A good starting point for anyone interested in a product role.
Feel free to reach out to Faizan (CTO at SlashML) via email (faizank [at] slashml [dot] com) for more info!
Note from Laurence: happy to offer an intro, just let me know!
Haven Is Hiring Full-Stack Developers
Haven is an accounting firm for startups, backed by 8VC, Longjourney and more - and they’re currently looking to hire full-stack developers to join the team (bonus if someone who applies has startup experience as well!)
Note form Laurence: a good friend of mine is in touch with Haven, if you’re interested in joining the team, please feel free to reach out over an email!
Join the Rejection Olympics this Wednesday!
Co-hosted by the Cansbridge Fellowship, Douze à Deux (Montreal’s Socratica Node) and McCall MacBain, the Rejection Olympics is taking place right next to McGill this Wednesday from 12PM to 5PM!
The theme of the event is addressing the fear of rejection. The Rejection Olympipcs brings together students and grads of all backgrounds, and aims to get people to share personal experiences, to talk about a “don’t ask, don’t get” frame of mind, and come out stronger by steping out of your comfort zone.
Please feel free to join, all the info is on the event’s Bounce page!
Thanks for Reading!
Wishing everyone a great week,
Laurence
